Day 2, Glencaple
After an early rise at the Hotel in Glencaple the group were rewarded with a second glorious day.
The clear sky had brought freezing conditions and plenty of birds.
Skeins of Pink-footed Geese head inland after roosting on the estuary overnight.
And a tight flock of Knot, reminiscent of Starling, make their way along the River Nith, in search of a place to feed.
